Activ Agent

AI agents for the conversations your team repeats every day.

Voice and messaging agents that work inside defined workflows, capture structured outcomes, update your systems and hand to a person when the conversation needs one.

Controlled automation

The interesting part isn't the voice. It's what the agent is allowed to do next.

Activ Agent is built around the workflow first: what the agent must confirm, what it can change, what it records and when it hands off.

  • Voice and SMS agents for confirmations, follow-ups, qualification and service tasks
  • Identity checks before anything sensitive is discussed
  • Structured outcomes rather than free-text transcripts
  • CRM and system updates as part of the conversation
  • Human handoff and escalation rules that you define

What it does

Operational conversations, with the guard rails built in.

Every capability is scoped to a workflow. The agent does not improvise beyond what the process allows.

  • Voice agents

Outbound and inbound calls that follow a defined script and decision flow, with natural conversation inside those bounds.

  • Messaging agents

The same workflows over SMS for customers who prefer to reply in their own time, using Activ SMS or your existing provider.

  • Identity confirmation

Configurable checks before the agent discusses appointments, documents or account details.

  • Structured outcomes

Each conversation ends in a defined outcome: confirmed, rearranged, declined, escalated. Outcomes drive the next step automatically.

  • System updates

Appointment changes, notes and status updates written to Activ CRM or your systems through APIs, not copied by hand afterwards.

  • Human handoff

Clear rules for when a person takes over, with the context passed along so the customer does not start again.

  • Audit and review

Recordings, transcripts and outcome logs available for quality review and compliance, with retention you control.

  • Workflow design

We design each agent workflow with you, including the exceptions, before anything goes live.

A typical workflow

Appointment confirmation, end to end.

One of the most common starting points. The same pattern applies to document chasers, renewal reminders and service follow-ups.

  1. Step 1

    Trigger

An appointment reaches the confirmation window in the CRM. A workflow schedules the call or message within the customer's contact preferences.

  2. Step 2

    Confirm identity

The agent introduces itself as an automated assistant, confirms it is speaking to the right person and checks it is a good time.

  3. Step 3

    Run the conversation

Attendance is confirmed, rearranged or declined. Questions outside the workflow are captured for a person to answer.

  4. Step 4

    Record and hand off

The structured outcome updates the CRM. Exceptions and requests for a callback are routed to the team with full context.

Integrations

Agents are only useful if they can act on your systems.

Activ Agent is designed to read context from, and write outcomes to, the platforms your operation already runs on.

Activ CRM
Native: appointments, customer context and outcomes with no integration work.
Your CRM or line-of-business system
APIs and integration services for existing platforms.
Telephony
Works with modern voice platforms and can sit alongside an existing contact centre.
Activ SMS
Messaging channel for the same workflows, including handoff to a person.
Microsoft Azure
Hosted on Azure with UK-appropriate options for data handling.
Automation platforms
Trigger agents from Make, n8n or Power Automate scenarios and consume outcomes in them.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Does the agent tell customers it is automated?

Yes. Every workflow introduces the agent as an automated assistant and offers a route to a person. We consider that part of good design, not a limitation.

What happens when a customer asks something the agent cannot handle?

The question is captured and routed to your team as an exception, with the conversation context attached. The agent does not guess.

Can we review what the agent said?

Recordings, transcripts and outcome logs are available for review, with retention periods you control.

Which conversations are a good starting point?

High-volume, repetitive conversations with a clear outcome: appointment confirmations, document chasers, renewal reminders, simple service requests.
